The Center for Research in Chemical Synthesis (CISQ) is a research center created at the initiative of teachers and researchers in the areas of organic and inorganic chemistry, Department of Chemistry in the University of La Rioja. It was created by agreement with the Council Governing of La Rioja on 16th June in 2008 with the formation of the members on 18th of September as an independent Research Centre.
The CISQ set out to be a work space in order to research, counsel and approach the business sector, by applying the results of basic research to technological development.
The CISQ will promote research excellence, with special attention to the training of researchers, and their insertion in the labor market in the region.
The CISQ aspires to be a social and cultural reference on both scientific and social aspects of chemical derivativesand in the preparation and properties of chemicals. It aims to promote the dissemination of knowledge and provide ideas, solutions and action programs on topics related to chemistry.
